The Traditions Committee is responsible for the majority of annual on-campus events that have become traditions within the Rice community. During the Fall semester, Traditions co-sponsors the Activities Fair, provides Welcome Back Week activities, hosts a variety of Homecoming events, and organises the Fall President and Dean’s Study Break. In the Spring, the committee’s focus is on Willy Week – sponsoring Beer Debates, International Beer Night, Willy’s Picnic, and more. We then conclude the semester and school year with the Spring President and Dean’s Study Break.
